Updates
I’ve been really busy at work, since I moved to California last year had very little time to spend on KDE and Oxygen. Fortunately people like Nuno and Riccardo and all the Oxygen team have been managing the project super well … *cough* best non-application 2007 *cough*.
Now, after slowly trying to get back into business helping with the KDE eV logo design, I’m finally being able to work a little more on my favorite open source project, currently redesigning Oxygen website.

But I’m also contributing a new wallpaper for KDE 4.2 collection. It’s called Plasmalicious and wants to resemble some sort of fiber or plasma fluid. The final version might change a little from the current one but you get an idea. Download 1920×1200 and 1600×1200 versions. All other sizes will be available in KDE 4.2.

nice, but miss some wallpapers of konqui.
someone can made some nice walls of konqui.
Thanks, was just looking for a wallpaper and there one is. Bonus points for having 1920X1200.
“Loading ‘plasmalicious-1600×1200.jpg failed
Gwenview cannot display documents of type application/x-zerosize”
The 1600×1200 Version seems to have 0 Byte Size, so probably something with the upload went wrong.
@blueget: I should have double checked. Fixed now, hope you’ll enjoy it.
wow, looks amazing. will it be the default wallpaper in kde 4.2? this would be the best looking wallpaper for kde ever!
Very nice. How about a 1200 x 1920 and a 1200 x 1600 version, for us using tallscreen monitors (rotated monitors)?
Very nice wallpaper
I love that the old KDE 3 wallpapers are being phased out for these beautiful ones
